How to read this page. A trial appearing here means it is registered. It does not mean the medicine works, is safe, or is available to buy. Medicines still in trials are not approved products, and anything sold under these names today is not an FDA-approved medicine. The tracker has two groups. Weight-management trials study people with obesity or overweight. Diabetes-only trials study the same medicines in people with type 2 diabetes or prediabetes, where weight is not the main condition. The page shows the weight group first, and the Population filter switches to the other group or to both. A medicine approved for diabetes is not thereby approved for weight management. The registry lists which medicines a trial uses, not the doses, so this page does not show doses. Trial details come from ClinicalTrials.gov as of October 2026, and the registry changes every day.
