FDA advisory committee recommends six of seven peptides for the compounding list

| Safety and regulation

The FDA Pharmacy Compounding Advisory Committee met July 23 and 24, 2026. It voted to recommend BPC-157, KPV, TB-500, MOTS-c, Epitalon and Semax for the 503A bulks list, and voted against emideltide (DSIP). The closest recommended votes were 7 to 5 for MOTS-c and 8 to 6 for BPC-157, KPV and TB-500.

Worth knowing: The votes are advice, not a rule, and not an approval. Reports say FDA staff recommended against all seven.
