How it differs from related products
Wegovy HD is a higher-strength version of the Wegovy weekly injection. Novo Nordisk announced its U.S. approval in March 2026 for the same purpose as Wegovy: reducing excess body weight and keeping it off. It is a separate product from Wegovy, so the official Wegovy HD label is the place to check what is approved. The Wegovy pill is a daily tablet, and Ozempic is approved for type 2 diabetes.
